Doing something special for your Mom for this year’s Mother’s Day? Looking for something unique to do together? – how about our Special Mother’s Day Soap Making Workshop! it’s Sunday, May 8th, 2-4pm, at the farm.

Goatmilk soap– cinnamon swirl with anise scent (like biscotti)

You’ll learn how to make Old Fashioned Lye Soap with Khaiti, using  fresh goats’ milk, vegetable oils and essential oils for light scents. She’ll talk about all kinds of cool add-ins for texture, visual beauty and share all her special tricks. Everyone goes home with a bar of homemade soap as a souvenir! We’ll serve some of the delicious foods from the farm to complete your Mom’s unique experience. $30 per person or $60 per family, please RSVP. In case of inclement weather, the class will cancelled.

As some of you know, I (Khaiti) lost my mom several years ago to Breast Cancer. Mothers are to be cherished and blessed for all they do to bring us to the world, keeping us safe  as youngsters, and for teaching us how to be a human. Mother’s Day is a very special day for anyone who’s been born, and a huge thank you to all the mothers out there.

Especially mine, and she really loved my homemade soaps!!……….RIP Momma Lou.

Dear Khaiti and Andrew, I come to your site often just to see/read the beauty of your life. I know that I don't know just how seriously hard it can be BUT it brings great joy to my heart and I smile all the while as I mull over your life. You are wonderful stewards of the amazing gifts that God has given us on this earth. May His love wrap you up like a wool blanket on a cold day, cup of cowgirl coffee in hand!

Susan, these are wonderful words, thank you for keeping in touch! We're having an open house at the new farm this Sunday if you'd like to come out, very different than the old tiny place in Osceola!
