We're very interested in visiting your new farm, taking classes and meeting you! This is exactly the direction we're hoping to take and have already completed an Organic Farming program. More power to you for expanding! We love goats and chickens, so your venture is truly exciting to read about. We will be in touch and thank you for sharing your dream. Jen and Janine (MPLS, MN)

Janet- you are SUCH a go-getter!!!! 4 BATCHES!!?? I am So very impressed, and keep up the good work. you can use up to 2 oz of essential oil in each batch, if you're wanting a stronger scent. I tend to like less strong smells, so 1 oz or less works best for my soap. Yes, the lye smell will dissapate as the soaps cure. The first couple days it is very strong, as the chemical reaction is still taking place. You'll notice next week the lovely smells coming through, but remember the bars seal up as they cure, so won't smell as nice until they are being lathered up and used (by your sister! won't she be jealous over all your soap making!!) I think chili powder should be yummy, and not dangerous as long as it is not spicy chili powder. I am so curious about the chocolate milk mocha soap you wanted to make....how did that work out for you? Thanks for being in touch, Khaiti
